Organization:

The Office of Vocation & Ministry (OVM) at Hellenic College Holy Cross equips and sustains Orthodox youth and young adults to engage their faith, explore their vocation, and grow as servant leaders. The OVM defines vocation as one’s unique and ongoing response to Christ’s call to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength, and the neighbor as oneself.

Projects:

Provided program support for the Office of Vocations and Ministries. The Office organizes the CrossRoad Summer Institute for high school juniors and seniors, sponsors retreats and symposia, and offers grants to Orthodox scholars who are doing work on vocations.

Provided funding for pilot internship program on institutional development.

Provided funding for a training internship to help prepare a new cadre of development professionals who are grounded in and passionate witnesses to their faith. Interns will be trained in professional fundraising and development rooted in best practices and coursework to share the outcomes with other Orthodox agencies.
